He is survived by: his son Billy Joe "B. J."; his daughter-in-law Debbie; his son Gary; his close friend Jim; his brother Doug; his sisters-in-law, Harriet, Anne and Onita; and his caregiver Michael Jones (Helms). He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (219 N Main St, Rural Retreat, VA 24368). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (514 S Main St, Rural Retreat, VA 24368). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Mountain View Cemetery (343 Mountain View Ave, Rural Retreat, VA 24368).
