He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Southard; his siblings, Frank Southard, Mary Burton and Maria Lewis; and his children, Yvonne Hagelgans, Debra Brickus, Thomas Southard, Robert Southard, Lisa McElroy, Jennifer Cornett, Chris Southard and Hope Southard.
