He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Holbrook and Laura Belle Sage Holbrook; and his siblings, J. C. Holbrook, Joseph Van Harding Holbrook, Shelby Jean Parks and Teddy Roosevelt Holbrook.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly F. Holbrook; his children, Melissa Ann, Tony Ray Fowler of Wytheville, VA, Samuel Scott and Rebecca Winesett Holbrook of Bland, VA; his grandchildren, Haley Betty Ann Fowler, Sharon Shewey, Tara Lynn Blea, Fiance A. J. Coleman, Laura Grace Holbrook and Carson Reid Holbrook; his great grandchildren, Bradley Scott Blea, Julie Rebecca Blea, Maverick Sean Coleman, Nathan Saunders and Ember Rae Olinger; and his siblings, Danny Wallace Holbrook of Rural Retreat, VA and Frances Laverne Frye of Wytheville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
