He is survived by: his wife Martha Atwell (Marty); his children, Angela (Jason Lamie) of Marion, VA, Matt Atwell (Rachel) of Rural Retreat, Joey Atwell (Frances Hale) of Fort Chiswell, VA, Alicia (Logan Rouse) of Atkins, VA and Chris Atwell (Tosha) of Groseclose, VA; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Johnathan Lamie, Joseph, Madison Atwell, Austin, Nick, Natalie Rouse, Hunter, Hailey Atwell, Jenna and Regan; his brother Jeff Atwell (Judy) of Rural Retreat; his sister-in-law Marilou Atwell; his close friends, Mike, Kristen Woodson and Pat Baldwin; and his pets, Pauline and Evy May. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
