It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Layne Lambert of Rural Retreat, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Garnett; her husband Cecil Kelly Lambert, Sr.; her siblings, Robert Kirby "Bobby" Layne and Daisy; her brother-in-law Paul Brewster; her daughter-in-law Donna Lambert; and her great grandchild Kelli Linae Myers.
She is survived by: her sons, Kelly Lambert of Americus, Kirby Lambert (Regina Alley) of Wytheville and Kevin (Kim Lambert); her grandchildren, Kayla, Zack Myers of Rural Retreat and Brady Lambert of Wytheville; her great grandchild Willow Kaye Myers; and her friend Mary. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, special friends and her church family.
