He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baldwin and Fannie Williams Baldwin; his former wife Nancy G. Baldwin; his sisters, Iva Baldwin, Mae Hall, Edith Baldwin and Virginia Baldwin; his son-in-law Charles Martin; and his sister-in-law Joan Baldwin.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy R. Baldwin of Rural Retreat; his children, Annetta "Chris" Martin, Dale Baldwin, Jr. (Ellen) and Joe Baldwin (Dana); his grandchildren, John Baldwin, Brandee Holmes (John), Jason Martin (Amanda), Joe Baldwin, Jr., Kirstin Baldwin and Stacie Spahr (Ken); his brother William "Bill" Baldwin; his stepson David Jones of Wytheville; his siblings-in-law, Billy Rutherford, Sr., Hazel Halsey (Tommy) of Volney, Ann Plummer (Bill) of Galax, Audrey Meadows and Patsy Ponds (Otis); his great grandchildren, Rebecca Plantholt, Cameron Martin, Brianna and Jennifer; and his close friends, Fred Rupard, Rick Bupert and Edie Lowry.
