With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hilda Oneda Poston of Rural Retreat, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Turley and Mabel Gates Turley; her siblings, L. M. Turley and Eva Rae Tilson; and her daughter-in-law Pamela Poston.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Noah Poston; her siblings, Shirley Yoe of Oxford, PA, Jerry Turley (Linda) of Yorktown, VA, Abney Turley of Roanoke, VA, Kathleen Copenhaver (Robert) of Sugar Grove, VA, Jimmy Turley (Sally) of Newport News, VA, Billy Turley (Angie) of Jonesville, VA, Howard Turley (Marie) of Sugar Grove, VA and Kathy Pennington (Dale) of West Jefferson, NC; her grandson Alec Poston; and her stepgrandchildren, Amy Addesso and Tony Addesso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
