He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ava Hawks and Ash Hawks; his sisters, Joyce Johnson of Rural Retreat, Pamela Galloway of Lancaster, PA and Jewel Lemons of Oxford, PA; his close friend Gus Mahala of Marion, VA; and his pet Rufus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
