She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Daniel Jones and Faye Irene Woods Jones; her spouse Isom Meek Sturgill; her siblings, Mildred Jones, Mary Ann Coley, Bobby Jones, Billy Jones, Jimmy Jones, Freddie Jones and Harold Jones; and her great grandchild Emma Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Cox (Buford) of Graceville, FL; her grandsons, Jonathan Cox (Marlene) of Birmingham, AL, Jeremy Cox (Maggie) of Birmingham, AL and Jordan Cox of Birmingham, AL; and her great grandchildren, Eben Cox of Birmingham, AL, Mathis Cox of Birmingham, AL, Everett Cox of Birmingham, AL, Avery Frances Cox of Birmingham, AL and Elizabeth Jane Cox of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff Baptist Baptist Church; First Baptist Church, Graceville, FL (Music Memorial); or the Baptist College of Florida (Campus Housing Scholarship).
