He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Whitt, Arnold Whitt, Gerald Whitt, Bill Whitt, David Whitt, Donald Whitt, Bert Lee Whitt and Martha Barrantes; his son-in-law Steve Herring; his wife Phyllis Anderson Whitt; his children, Robert Whitt of Quinla, TX, Dianna Herring of Brunswick, GA and Donna Whitt of Rural Retreat, VA.; his grandchildren, Adam, Maria Herring, Caleb Whitt, Kristin Horne, Michele Whitt, Robert Whitt Jr. and Madison Whitt; his great grandchild Kendall Ryan; his siblings, Patty Singleton of Opp, AL. and Lonnie Whitt of Opp, AL; and his friends, Clayton, Elizabeth Vandyke, Paul Ratliff and Brian Justus.
