He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy L. Mercer; and his daughter Becky Blevins. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Dixon of Atkins and Dale Mercer (Melissa); his son-in-law Gale Blevins of Rural Retreat; and his grandchildren, Tonya Dotson, Cindy Andies and Joshua Blevins. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
