He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Arney and Nellie Simpkins Arney; his sister Linda Graves; and his brother-in-law Roger Graves. He is survived by: his wife Connie Arney of Rural Retreat; his children, Cindy Duncan of Roanoke, Carmen (Jeremy Gravely), Samantha Keith of Wytheville, Cara (Bryan Gibson), Lonnie (Leila Meade), Johnathan Wooldridge of Rural Retreat and Jacob (Crystal Wooldridge); his sister Peggy; and his brother-in-law Leslie Dishon of Radford. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
