She is survived by: her son Tanner Layne King; her brother Jesse Neugent of Wytheville, VA; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy King of Smyth County, Johnny (Lisa King) of Smyth County and David (Tammy King) of Smyth County; and her close friends, Patty Brewer and Peggy Hash of Rural Retreat. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (219 N Main St, Rural Retreat, VA 24368). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens (7764 W Lee Hwy, Rural Retreat, VA 24368).
