Matthew Bunyea Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2018, at the age of 61, Matthew Bunyea (Ruckersville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Wells Bunyea and Jane Osbourn Bunyea; his uncle Joe Osbourn; his cousin Joey Osbourn; his father-in-law Reverend Jack Parrish; his friend Carroll Lamb, Sr.; his children, Kelly Bunyea Smoker (Philip) of Somerset and Brandon Parrish Bunyea (Sarah) of Stanardsville; his grandchildren, Tyler Bunyea, Will Bunyea, Mason Bunyea and Lily Grace Bunyea; his siblings, Cliff Bunyea (Doris) of Charlottesville and Jeannie Bunyea Smith of Ruckersville; his mother-in-law Glory Roach Parrish; his sisters-in-law, Marcia Parrish and Becky Parrish Sadler (Barry); his nieces and nephews, Jessica Sadler Dehoux (Josh), Adrienne Smith Carter (Garrett), Alison Smith (Daniel Romero), Jackson Dehoux and Jameson Dehoux; his aunt Darline Osbourn; his cousin Rusty Osbourn; his uncle Fred Osbourn; his significant other Derek Harper; and also, Willow and Autumn. He is also survived by friends, antiquing, thrifting with his daughter and son-in-law, collecting antique radios and water jugs, watching Redskins and UVA football, watching his grandchildren.
