She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur McDaniel and Hattie Lam McDaniel; her husbands, Franklin D. Shifflett and Fred A. Morris Sr.; her siblings, Ellis, Dennis, Raymond McDaniel, Madeline Shifflett, Della Rodgers, Gladys Breeden, Ada Shifflett and Annie Mae Roach; and her stepsons, Stanley Morris and Arnold Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Shifflett (Sharon), Diane Brown (Donnie), Jimmy Shifflett (Melinda), Alvin Shifflett (Terri) and Fred Layton Morris; her grandchildren, Kim, Neal, Dawn, Matthew, Michael, Jamie, Sabrina, Wesley and Tiffany; her siblings, Lottie McCauley (Don), David and Delmar McDaniel; and her stepchildren, Karen Baugher and Keith Morris (Jackie). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
