It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Daniel Wood (Ruckersville, Virginia), who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitler Sims Wood Sr. and Agnes Ellen Wood of Albemarle County. He is survived by: his children, Michael Wood and Amy Morris; his son-in-law Tim Morris (Dinky); his siblings, Gregory Wood and Jane Towler; his brother-in-law Michael Towler; and his grandchildren, Courtnee Hoveyy, Devin Morris, Lauren Morris, Jared Morris, Jacob Morris, Olivia Morris and Liberty Chambers. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
