He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew Shifflett and Martha Annie Collier Shifflett; his daughter Glenda Shifflett; and his siblings, Leona, Clara Anne Shifflett and Floyd Hubert Shifflett.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Shifflett; his children, Tommy Shifflett (Lavennie) and Pamela Sacre (Michael) of Ruckersville; his brothers, William Shifflett of Ruckersville, VA and Omie Shifflett of Gordonsville, VA; his grandchildren, Brandon Shifflett, Mallerie Shifflett and Olivia Shifflett; his great grandchild Bianca Shifflett; his nephew Pete Shifflett; his niece Rose Lawson; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian Detamore (Lloyd) and Linda Dunnivan.
