He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lawson and Helen Lawson; his brother Eugene "Shirley" Lawson; and his granddaughter Emma Raine Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Pam Lawson; his daughters, Ashley Lawson (Chris White), Katlyn Gentry (Jordan) and Whitney Lawson (Colby Sheehan); his siblings, LuLinda "Lu" Hartman (Steve) of Fredericksburg, Jeff Lawson (Debbie) of Ruckersville and Randy Lawson (Michelle) of Hayes; his grandchildren, Landon Jackson and Oaklee Gentry; his cousins, Dale, Gilmer and Mark Lawson; his close friends, Page Fox, Steve Smith, Leon Beasley, Sentara Martha Jefferson, Danny and Pastor Josh Shifflett; and also David Burrelle. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
