He is survived by: his wife Betty S. Carlson; his children, Dawn C. Trotter (Troy Trotter), Tiffany C. Vann (Troy Vann) and Joseph S. Carlson; his parents, Charles N. Carlson and Laverne Carlson; and his siblings, Carl, Steve Carlson, Renee Carlson-Coleman and Candy Carlson. He is also survived by two grandsons; and three great grandchildren.
