He is survived by: his children, Tina Bowen Svoboda and Alec R. Bowen Jr.; his daughter-in-law Angie Bowen; his siblings, James T. Bowen Jr., Howard Slough, Jim Bowen (Marsha), Dorothy Wichael, Brenda Moneymaker, Linda Hardiman (Howard) and Betty Grant (Richard); his grandchildren, Amber Bishop, Savanna Bowen, EJ Bishop, Austin Bowen, Bryson Bowen and Isabelle Svoboda; his great grandchildren, Abigael Bishop, Madisyn Franco-Deane, Avery Franco-Deane and Kensley Bishop; and his extended family, Katelynn Miller, Brock Peery, Josey Groah, Josefine Van Beek, Waylond Allen and Taylor Dean. He is also survived by many nephews and loving nieces.
