He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys Doig and Arthur Doig; his wife Ruby; his children, Susan Doig, Kristin Doig Alexander and Paul (Ginger); and his grandsons, Grant, Drew, Will Doig, Milton and Knox Alexander.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Williamsburg Landing Benevolence Fund, The Alzheimer's Association, or charity of your choice.
