He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Alfred and Carrie Virginia Kay Paxton; his siblings, Alberta Johnson, Daniel Lewis Paxton and Roger Allen Paxton; and his parents-in-law, Robert Lee and Genevieve Marie Reed Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Diane Miller Paxton of Covington; his son Michael Wayne; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Paxton; his daughter Rebecca Diane Paxton; his grandsons, Johnny Lee Meadows and Michael Logan Paxton; his great grandchildren, Michael Logan Paxton, Jr., Levi Wyatt Meadows and Hannah Grace Paxton; his nephew Eric Allen Paxton; his sister Mary Ann; his brother-in-law Johnny Marks; and his close friend Lonnie McKinney.
