He is survived by: his children, Tammy Campbell (Chris) of Oakwood, Virginia, Tommy Shortridge (Dwana) of Pilgrims Knob and Terry Shortridge (Robyn) of Powhatan, Virginia; his grandchildren, Josh Campbell (Ashleigh), Christopher Simmons (Sophia), Chelsea Shortridge (Josh Sarvers), Cortney Cordle (Mark) and Linsey Webb (Isaac); his siblings, Shirley Dean Harris and Ralph Shortridge (Sue); his siblings-in-law, Shirley Shortridge, Sandy Shortridge, Mildred Shortridge and Doug Davis; and his close friends, Maynard Rasnake, Elden Ball, Don and Reable Bevins. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
