He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Stiltner and Nancy Hess Stiltner; his wife Elsie Mae Bond Stiltner; his daughters, Juanita Ratliff (Jerry), Ilene Ratliff, Elsie Stiltner and Delsie Stiltner; and his siblings, Ira Stiltner, Mary Ellen Matney and Edna Stiltner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bell Ann Stiltner (Hershel) of Page and Patricia Matney (Danny) of Asheboro; his son-in-law Bill Ratliff of Page, Virginia; his siblings, Lacy Stiltner, Roger Stiltner and Mable Stiltner; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Bond and W. C. Vance. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
