Penelope Joan Duhring Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penelope Joan Duhring of Round Hill, Virginia, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Christopher Smith and Joan Isabel Smith (Martin); and her husband John Lewis Duhring (Jack). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Duhring (Terry), Susan Duhring and Karen Duhring (Dan Sennett); her grandchildren, William Duhring (Meghan O'Donoghue), John Duhring (Laura), Elizabeth Rein (Kevin) and Catherine Boatright (Max); and her brother Christopher Smith (Alison Rice) of Toronto. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
She was recognized as the 2013 Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Shop Volunteer of the Year for her contributions to the community.
