He is survived by: his siblings, Maybelline Holcomb and Leon Akers; his wife Sharon Oliver Akers; his daughters, Angelique Lovern and Stephanie Dulaney (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cody (Lauren), Kyle, Chelsea and Holly Berry; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Bexley.
