He was predeceased by: his parents, James Terence Sr. and Anne Walker McCracken; and his sister Nancy Felton of Waterford. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bailey of Leesburg; his sons, Michael of Purcellville and Nicholas (Kristy) of Round Hill; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, John, Charlie, Mary Kate and Mason; and his nieces, Anne Margaret Felton of Denver and Catherine Moye of Olney.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson County, WV, Izaak Walton League, P. O. Box 934, 10435 Leetown Road, Kearneysville, WV 25430, or to the Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 4 Main Street, Round Hill, VA 20141.
