It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Scheppan of Round Hill, Virginia, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Henry and Marie Iola Scheppan (Langford); his wife Grace Marie Scheppan (Robinson); and his son David (Kathleen) of Middletown, VA. He is survived by: his sisters, Jeanette Scheppan of Arlington Heights, IL, Elizabeth Gengler of Arlington Heights, IL and Elaine Langford of Columbus, OH; his children, Eric (Cheryle) of Statesville, NC and Carolyn (Jim Mellone) of Round Hill, VA; and his grandchildren, Alan, Brian, Erika, Brandon and Nancilee. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
