It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Sikalis Halachis (Round Hill, Virginia), who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Spiros Sikalis and Helen Sikalis; her husband John Halachis; and her siblings, Peter, Theodore, Eugenia of Boston, Massachusetts. and Margaret of Boston, Massachusetts..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Emmert (late Fred) of Leesburg, Virginia, Lisa Abramson (Daniel) of Round Hill, Virginia and Alexander Halachis (Judy) of Blackstone, Massachusetts.; and her sibling Calliope Carmosino of Mashpee, Massachusetts.. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of sending flowers, her family asks that donations be made, in her memory, to the Humane Society of Loudoun County, Virginia.
