With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearlie Ramsey of Rosedale, Virginia, born in Dickenson County, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Douglas and Nora Belle Rasnake Owens; her husband George Ramsey of Washington; her close friend Dallas Crabtree; her son Jerry "Heck" Ramsey; and her siblings, Sharon Fontell Owens Sexton (David) and Carson Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Cole (Carol) of Abingdon, Virginia and Donna Mullins (Hank Matney) of Abingdon, Virginia; her daughter-in-law Sandy Ramsey of Oakwood, Virginia; her grandchildren, Sean Brennan (Laura), Bridget Michelle Ramsey, Dusty Mullins (Tina), Sherri Ramsey (Britain) and Douglas Ramsey (Ashley); and her brother Wilkie Owens (Ruby). She is also survived by special friends, church family and classmates.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Clinch Valley Community Action or Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens or the charity of your choice.
