She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Miller Hess; and her siblings, Hassell Lee Hess, Alvin Hess, Carl Henry Hess and Maudie Bell Cox.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Lee Dye; her children, Bobby Dye (Kathy) of Rosedale, Connie Sue Hess (Michael Sullivan) of Rosedale and Loretta Lynn Taylor (Donald) of Rosedale; her grandchildren, Jason Hess (Kelli), Misty Hale (Charles), Sonya Smith (Kenny) and Amanda Taylor; her great grandchildren, Baileigh, Carlie, Damian, Miley, Kamdyn, Ashlyn, Liam and Kaziah; and her siblings, Elma Sue Yates (Tivis), Burke Hess (Lou), Chester Hess (Edith) and Thurman Hess (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
