He is survived by: his wife Anna Ruth Fletcher Bostic; his daughters, Judy Smith (Rex) of Swords Creek, Kaylee Ann Bostic and Emily Elizabeth Bostic; his grandsons, Rex Smith, Jr. (Amanda) and Daylon Smith (Felicity); his mother-in-law Carrie Fletcher; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Asher Grey, Rex III, Scarlett Renlee and Raylon Clint; his siblings, James Bostic of Honaker, Brady Bostic of Vansant, Roy Bostic (Joyce Horne) of Abingdon, Roger Darrell Bostic of Big, Charlie Ellis Bostic (Rhonda) of Honaker, Danny Ray Bostic of Council, Stanford Gerald Bostic (Jessie) of Lebanon, Virginia Lois, Ira "Squeaky" Stevens of Honaker and Rosa Bostic of Council; and his close friend Kirby Meadows (Wanda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
