It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Brown of Rosedale, Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Brown to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Arthur and Eunice Belle Whitt Whited; her husband Garland Brown; her granddaughter Amy Rachel Brown; her siblings, C. A. Whited, Jr. and Joan Whited Street Nuckles; and her nephew Joseph "Chuck" Street.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Brown Sneed of Springfield and Ed Brown (Betsy) of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Shannyn Sneed of Richmond, J. P. Sneed of Richmond and Michael Sneed of Richmond; her great grandchildren, Abigail Brown, Clara Brown and Edward Sneed; and also Nathan Brown (Valerie) of Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doris W. Brown to Spring City Baptist Church 1380 AM WLRV, 385 Spring City Road, Cleveland, VA 24225.
