It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Poppe of Rose Hill, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Rader Poppe. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Poppe of Durham, NC and Bill Poppe of Aurora, IL; his children, Doug Poppe of Fairfax, VA, James Poppe (Connie) of Bowie, MD, Donna Poppe Wagner (Kenny) of Syracuse, NY, Mark Poppe (Judy) of Aberdeen, MD and Carol Poppe of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Jessica Poppe Heise (David) of Parkville, MD, Christopher Poppe of Falling Waters, WV, Rachel Poppe Montreal (Dave) of Cicero, NY, Briannan Wagner Schleining (John) of Gresham, OR and Katie Poppe; his stepgrandchildren, Dorothy, KJ and Jeff; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Eleanor and Levi. He is also survived by nine step grand-children and many dear close friends.
