He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sr. Kohlhepp and Annabelle Kohlhepp; his children, Virgil Kohlhepp III, Will Kohlhepp and Heather Kohlhepp; and his granddaughter Hannah Ellison.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra WIlson Kohlhepp; his children, Laura Merrill (Mike), WIllow Greene (Phillip) of Tennessee and John Kohlhepp of Indiana; and his stepchildren, Angela McMurry (Kenny), Tammy Bailey (Carl) and Rick Middleton (Kristie). He is also survived by six grandchildren seven step grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
