He was predeceased by: his parents, Mckinley Hensley and Cora Lee Hensley (Ely); and his siblings, Oscar, Glen, Walter, James Hensley and Georgia Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Hensley Delaney of Jonesville, VA, Samuel Roscoe Hensley of Ewing, VA and Jacques Mkinley Lakins Hensley of Kingsport, TN; his siblings, Marie Snodgrass of Ohio, Phyllis McManus, Beulah Wilder of Rose Hill, VA and Rex Hensley of Rose Hill, VA; his grandchildren, Brittany Rae Sexton (Micah), Hagan Hensley (Lindsay), Roxanne Quinn Hensley, Seth Delaney, Jude Mckinley Hensley and Emerie Elizabeth Hensley; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Lee Sexton, Oakland Troy Sexton and Campbell Joanna Hensley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
