He is survived by: his wife Nancy Surber Gibson; his children, Bruce Gibson (Diane) of Kingsport, Shannon Bellamy (Barry) of Rogersville and Brian Gibson of Johnson City; his grandchildren, Caleb Gibson (Maggie), Christa Wheeler (Drew), Nathan Gibson, Alyssa Rice (Caleb), Malaya Adams, Abigail Daniels (Jordan), Jamar Adams, Will Adams, Aaron Adams and Paezha McCartt; his great grandchildren, Ellie Gibson, Annie Gibson and Caroline Daniels; his sister Sue Livesay (Charles); his nephews, Eric Livesay and Brad Livesay; his siblings-in-law, Joy Fox (Dennis), John Surber (Barbara) and Karl Surber (Mary Lee); his cousin Jimmy Cavin; his son-in-law Barry Bellamy; his grandson Izzi McKenzie; and his caregivers, Melissa, Makayla, Helen, Margaret, Kathy and Amy.
