It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Joe Nelson of Rose Hill, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grover Nelson and Dorothy Nelson; his brother-in-law Richard Hilton; his wife Beverly Nelson; his siblings, Carolyn Hilton, Betty Williams (James) and Dennis W. Nelson; his nephews, Dennis D Nelson (DD), Rozzland and Reyland; his niece Ashley Knisely (Ron); his great-nephew Daniel Knisely (DC); his stepchildren, Brian Doyle, Aaron Doyle, Poppy, Dallas Doyle, Mallie Doyle, Hunter Ellis and Lynzee Doyle; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Kimberly, Ashlyn, Tyler, Kamryn, Aydyn, Ashton, Austin and Avery.
Due to covid-19 regulations family and friends attending are asked to wear mask/face covering and maintain social distancing guidelines.
