We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 88, Rex A. Hensley of Rose Hill, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Hensley and Cora Lee Hensley; his wife Charlotte Cheek Hensley; his siblings, Oscar Hensley, Glen Hensley (Mary), James Hensley, Sam Hensley and Walt Hensley (Linda); and his sons-in-law, Carl Stewart and Joe Beckwith.
He is survived by: his children, Rhodella Damron, Debra Kepiro (Robert), Coletta Jaine Stewart and Rex Allen Hensley (Tina); his sisters, Marie Snodgrass, Phyllis McManus and Beulah Wilder (Burl); his sister-in-law Barbara Sue Lakins Hensley; and his grandchildren, Melissa Damron, Michelle Bechtel (Cody), Sarah Thrower (Jason), Jasmine Hensley, Jessica Hensley, Alydia Stewart and Derek Stewart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
