With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Brayden Whitt of Rose Hill, Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 22. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Marie Whitt and Ronnie Lawson; his sister Hailee Whitt; and his uncle Perry Leroy Whitt.
He is survived by: his parents, Tim Whitt and Wendy Whitt; his sister Cei Jae Whitt (Kevin Payne); his niece Addie Whitt; his grandparents, Terri and Jerry Stapleton; and his aunts and uncles, Tiffany (Willie Gilliam), Sarah (Jarod Adams), Linda Whitt, Titus (Theresa Whitt), James Whitt, Jr. and Mark (Sherry Spurlock).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Praise and Worship Center (224 Wilders Peak Dr, Rose Hill, VA 24281). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the Whitt Cemetery.
