James Davis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Davis of Rose Hill, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McDaniel Davis and Mary LeMarr Davis; his brother-in-law Edmond Hensley; and his nephew Tim Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Melanie Stockwell (Mitchell) of Atlanta, Shannon Brock (Greg) of Knoxville, Jason Davis (Martha) of Rose Hill and Amanda Reasor (Eddie) of Jonesville; his grandsons, Davis Stockwell and Jack Davis; and his sisters, Jacinta Hensley of Rose Hill and Teresa Susong (Dan) of Rose Hill. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
