It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Claude Cavin (Rose Hill, Virginia), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. M. Cavin and Maude Buchanan Cavin; and his siblings-in-law, Neva and Obie Edds. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Snodgrass Cavin; his children, Carol Louthen (Robert) and Clark Cavin (Vicky); his grandchildren, Melissa Owens (Cory), Brittany Collins (Joshua) and Caleb Cavin; his great grandchildren, James, Annora Owens, Liam and Levi Collins; his brother James "Jimmy" Cavin (Kathleen); and his caregivers, Rochelle Brooks, Jessie Snodgrass and Brittany Middleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
