He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dorton and Willie Dorton (Davis); and his granddaughter Katlyn Owens. He is survived by: his wife Kim Dorton; his daughters, Brandy Logan and Nicci Owens (Dwayne); his siblings, Charlie Dorton (Judy), Kenny Dorton, David Dorton (Cindy), Jackie Dorton (Bridgette), Dorothy Ann Riggs, Carol Bolinsky (Juno) and Violet Dorton; his grandchildren, Alyssa Owens, Johnathan Belcher, Cameron Rutherford and Marlana Diets; his great grandchildren, Colson Rutherford, Darius Rutherford, Declan Mabe, Madeline Mabe, Salem Mabe and Liam Huffman; and his close friend Ronnie Crumb. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
