He is survived by: his wife Linda Matlock; his children, Pam Matlock, Barbara Hiatt (Michael) and Wayne Matlock (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashley Matlock, Tiffany Disney (Ryan), Katie Hiatt, Jesse Hiatt, Kari Stapleton and Brittany Boggs Grayson Matlock (Joey); his great grandchildren, Javen Hull and Payton Branscome; and his siblings, Tom Matlock (Valerie), Jeff Matlock (Charlotte) and Carol Deavers. He is also survived by his family and friends.
