He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shepherd (Hensley) and Elva Shepherd; and his siblings, George Eddy, Jackie Shepherd, Wilma Laws and Brenda Jo Howell.
He is survived by: his wife MaryLou Shepherd; his children, Cassandra O'Fee of Shiloh, IL and Scott Shepherd (Andrea) of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Gareth Shepherd and Michael Shepherd; his siblings, Charles Jerry Shepherd (Ada) of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronnie Shepherd of Little Rock, AK, Peggy Wheeler of Loveland, OH. and Linda Eldridge of Loveland, OH.; and his cousin Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
