It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Meeks (Rocky Mount, Virginia), who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Everett, Cecil, Jerry, Ray, Thomas Meeks, Juanita Furrow and Barbara Collins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Belcher and Allen Meeks; and his close friends, Jason Cundiff, Bonnie and Kenny Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and food, the family request donations to Carilion Clinic Hospice of Franklin County or Redwood United Methodist Church.
