He is survived by: his wife Betty Gearhart Ferguson; his sons, Ronald, Jr., Eddie and Mark (Karen); his grandchildren, Tommy, David, Richard, Elijah, Katelynn and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Carly and Aleeah; his siblings, Larry Ferguson (Sherry) and Linda Saunders; and his cousins, Bobby, Johnny, Wade, Tim and Tony Belcher. He is also survived by numerous other cousins; nieces; nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Ferrum Virginia Rescue Squad or The Saint Jude Children's Research Center.
