He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Moyer and Elsie Wood Moyer; his brothers, Gene E. Moyer and Ronald L Moyer; his brother-in-law William D. Montgomery, Jr.; his mother-in-law Ruth Lavinder Turman (Charlie); his sister-in-law Peggy Turman; his aunt Sunie; his uncle Lax Mitchell; and his grandparents, Elisha and Bertie Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Turman Moyer; his son Carl Moyer; his grandson Timmy Moyer (Jazlyn); his great grandchild Gray Robert Moyer; his sisters, Thalia M. Altice (Lloyd) and Debbie M. Montgomery; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice J. Moyer and Glenn Turman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Franklin Heights Church (110 Hilltop Dr, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
