She was predeceased by: her parents, Navie Woody and Maude Scott Woody; her husband Ford Ellis; and her brother Curtis Woody. She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Kimberly; her sister-in-law Vita Davis Woody; and her caregiver Joyce Brown. She is also survived by other nieces and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Franklin Memorial Park (240 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
