Peggie Foster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2023, at the age of 93, Peggie Foster (Rocky Mount, Virginia), born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggie Foster to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert "Pete" Foster; and her parents, George William and Sarah Alice Burton Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Alice Bartell, Sally Ann Mullikin and Peter Gray Foster; and her siblings, Bill George Anderson, Pearl Harbor and Alice Patricia (Coyne). She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandson.
The recipients of Mrs. Foster's generosity is long, many of the donations made without public fanfare or publicity as she felt it was better to give than receive. She requested that interested people consider a donation in her memory to the Heavenly Manna food bank in Rocky Mount, Franklin County Historical Society or another charity of choice.
